Why we built it
Learners regularly end up paying unofficial websites far more than the £34 fee for their provisional licence, or waiting weeks because of a simple mistake on their form. This site exists to make the first step of learning to drive clear, cheap and quick.
Who we are
We're the team behind Intensive Driving Courses Wales, based in Abergavenny and teaching across South and West Wales for over 22 years. We also run Driving Theory Test Guide for free theory revision and the Local Driving Schools Directory to help learners find an instructor anywhere in the UK.
How we keep it accurate
- Every fee, age limit and waiting time is checked against GOV.UK, DVLA, DVSA and nidirect
- Each page shows when its facts were last checked
- We link to the official service for every application — we never process applications or take payments
